May 17, 2003 - Literature Distribution

There were six of use who met at approximately 9:00 AM at the campground.  After a time of prayer, we split up into three groups of two and within an hour and half, distributed around 425 packets.  The morning was chilly, overcast,  and even drizzled a bit, which led to the low occupancy for the day.  The campground was at around 50% occupancy.  However, for those who were not there, we left a packet on the mobile home with a door hanger.  We had the privilege of talking to several people, who seemed interested in coming out.   Also, I ran across one of the faithful couples from last year.  They did however have some news about another one of the faithful, Mr. Jim Reid.  Mr. Reid and his wife Dot were a real encouragement to this preacher last year in many ways.  I learned today that Mr. Reid has been diagnosed with lung cancer and will not be coming up from South Carolina this year.  He is not well, please pray for this family.  Thank you all for your prayers, and I trust you will keep us on your prayer list throughout the summer.

For His Glory!
